Continuous landslides have brought the main highways to a standstill; where are they closed?
Kathmandu: Due to landslides triggered by rainfall over the past few days, various major highways and road sections across the country have been completely blocked. Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Abinarayan Kafle said that, due to landslides this morning, the Kanti Lokpath at Pangdur in Ward No. 3 of Bagmati Rural Municipality, Lalitpur; the Bhaluwang-Pyuthan road section at Khahare Khola in Ward No. 4 of Sarumarani Rural Municipality, Pyuthan; the Kanti Lokpath road section at Bharyangdanda in Ward No. 8 of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality, Makwanpur; and the Mid-Hill Highway at Bimire Bhanjyang in Ward No. 10 of Madhya Nepal Municipality, Lamjung, have been completely obstructed.
