Kathmandu. Genji youths have lit a lamp in memory of Bipin Joshi, who was kidnapped by Hamas in Israel.
Genji activist Raksha Bam and other youths lit a lamp in the memory of Joshi at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Bipin was held by Hamas since October 7, 2023. Joshi, who went to Israel to study, was kidnapped by Hamas two years ago and taken to Gaza.
On Monday, Hamas confirmed the death of 4 people, including him, and informed that they were about to hand over the bodies. After a DNA test in Israel on Tuesday, the Israeli army has officially confirmed Joshi's death.
