On Teej, 2500 policemen will be mobilized for the security of Pashupati area

Kathmandu. The police have prepared a security action plan to tighten security in the Pashupatinath temple premises on the occasion of Haritalika Teej. As the Pashupatinath temple and surrounding areas will be crowded with pilgrims on Monday, District Police Complex Kathmandu has prepared and implemented a security strategy. 

SP Dan Bahadur Thapa of District Police Complex Kathmandu told Ratopati that 2,500 policemen will be mobilized in two shifts on Monday for security in the Pashupati Temple area. 

DSP will lead the security in the temple premises. SP Thapa said that by setting up a command post in the temple area on Sunday, arrangements have been made for effective monitoring, direction and coordination of security management and police deployment.
