Indian pilgrims jeep accident in Pyuthan, one dead, 21 injured

Kathmandu. One person died when a jeep carrying Indian pilgrims on their way to Pyuthan's Swargadwari met with an accident. 20 people are injured. Chief of District Police Office and DSP Narahari Adhikari informed that there was an accident of Jeep number 1 J 3175 in Pyuthan municipality-4, Takura road section on Thursday, May 10th afternoon.

The jeep was going to Swargadwari from Bhingri in Pyuthan. A child died in the accident, police said. According to the police, the condition of most of the injured is serious. 21 people were injured in the accident, including 5 children. 10 of them have been referred to Butwal for further treatment. The jeep fell down about 25-30 meters from the road. The injured were taken to the primary health center Bhingri with the help of police and locals for first aid.
