Weather forecast: Chance of rain with thunder in all seven states

Kathmandu. At present, there is partial influence of westerly winds, high pressure system in the upper atmosphere and low pressure area in the lower atmosphere near the eastern part of Nepal. At present, it is generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country. In some places of Terai and valley, cold weather has also occurred.
In the afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki regions, and the rest of the hilly areas will be partly cloudy. There will also be thunderstorms in few places in Terai and valley. There is a possibility of light rain and snow with thunder and lightning at few places in hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi Province including Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces, hilly and Himalayan areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces and one or two places in Terai area of Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces.
