Preparations to cancel 107 schools by Kathmandu Metropolis, 15 days ultimatum to get in touch

Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has prepared to cancel one hundred and seven schools that are not physically functioning. On Tuesday, the metropolis issued an ultimatum to such schools to contact the education department within 15 days. According to the notification issued by the Department of Education of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, according to the decision of the Metropolitan City Education Committee on 28th July last, it has been found that one hundred and seven schools are not operating on site, despite having received permission in the past.

The metropolis, which has published the list of such schools, has asked the concerned headmaster, director, manager or Guthiyar to contact them if they are still in operation. The department said that if it is not possible to contact and confirm that they are in operation within the specified time, it will be recommended to the executive to close such schools.
