Kathmandu. Communication and Information Technology Minister Jagdish Kharel has said that he has studied, understood and reviewed the Mobile Device Management System (MDMS) after becoming a minister. Addressing the second session and third general meeting of Nepal Mobile Business Association Kathmandu on Saturday, he said that MDMS is caught in the net of corruption and that net must be torn.

As soon as I came as a minister, I asked, understood and read about MDMS. He was stuck in the net of corruption. It is not as if Mahadev built a palace of gold by tearing down huts and building a palace of gold in the story of Swasthani, who tried to break the web of MDMS in the net of corruption,' he said, 'and I have studied that it may take time, but it has to be torn down.'

Minister of Technology Kharel said that mobile business plays an important role in increasing the economic mobility of the country as well as connecting social and family relationships. Minister Kharel informed that most of the youth are involved in mobile business and about 100,000 people have got employment through this sector. According to him, there are about 4,000 mobile businessmen active in Kathmandu Valley alone.
