Instructions of the Congress General Secretary to be active in the voter registration campaign in the wards
Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa and Vishwa Prakash Sharma have instructed all the organizations under the party to be active in updating the voter list. Regarding the fact that the Election Commission has opened the new voter registration till the 30th of October, both the Chief Ministers have asked the party structures from the state to the ward level to fully focus on the registration process after the completion of the Chhath festival.
It has been asked to carry out the voter registration campaign with priority by holding meetings at all levels through the circular. Instructions have also been given that the district committees should form teams according to their areas and deploy them in the registration work. Likewise, the top leadership has coordinated with the local level to spread awareness among the youth who have reached the age and asked them to participate in the registration. It is suggested to form a 'Voter Registration Group' to discuss with the young age group to list the names and to facilitate the registration by appointing them from the young age group.
