Kathmandu. Elections for the new leadership will be held on Tuesday only in the special convention of the Nepali Congress. The session of the special convention is continuing at the Bhrukutimandap located on the Exhibition Road in Kathmandu. In the closed session, the election process started from noon on Monday.
Sitaram KC, the coordinator of the central election committee formed by the special convention, said that there will be no voting for the new leadership today. He informed that the election process will start on Tuesday. Earlier today, the election program was announced to start voting from 9 pm today.
Now the process of candidacy registration is going on. The time for filing nominations is fixed till 7:30 pm.
