Kathmandu. Outgoing Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has not participated in any election activities lately. Deuba's secretariat has made it clear that there is no plan for Deuba to participate in any election meeting, program or campaign so far.

After the news was published in some media that Deuba is preparing to be active in the election campaign, the secretariat drew attention to it and said that such news is baseless. According to the secretariat, Deuba is currently not ready to participate in any political program.

"There is no plan to go to the election meeting or any other program," said Deuba's secretariat in clear words. After the secretariat made such a public opinion, various speculations inside and outside the party about Deuba's future role have also stopped.

Deuba, who has been the prime minister four times, is a leader who has been playing a decisive role in the expansion of the Congress organization, power cooperation and coalition politics. However, with the change of leadership of the Congress in the last week of December, Deuba has officially left the party leadership.
