Kathmandu. Israel attacked many cities including Tehran, the capital of Iran, on Saturday morning. In response, Iran launched a retaliatory attack against Israel. According to media reports, Iran fired about 400 missiles in return.

In addition to Israel, Iran has also attacked US bases in Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Israel has targeted Iran's Intelligence Ministry, Defense Ministry, Supreme Leader Khamenei's office and Iran's Atomic Energy Organization. After the attack, Khamenei was moved to a safe place.

Millions of Nepalis live in Gulf countries. It is estimated that there are more than 500,000 Nepalis in Saudi Arabia, more than 300,000 in UAE, more than 400,000 in Qatar and about 100,000 in Kunet. Iran has also fired several missiles at the US military base in Bahrain, a neighbor of Israel, and the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. Iranian missile intercepted over Qatar. Qatar's defense ministry said its Patriot defense system intercepted an Iranian missile. Many international flights to the Middle East have been canceled and many countries have closed their airspace due to security concerns.
