Congress left the path of transfer, Deuba will distribute the ticket for the next election

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, who appeared to be 'flexible' for the transfer of leadership when the discussion of generational transfer in the old parties became heated after the Genji Rebellion, has become reluctant to hand over power as time goes by. Deuba, who had also suffered physical attacks from the protestors during the rebellion, had shown himself to be 'flexible' by appointing Purna Bahadur Khadka as acting chairman at that time when the atmosphere was heated. However, when the young generations who rebelled were divided into different groups and started to weaken, Deuba tried to keep the power in his own hands again.

Although Deuba has given Khadka the responsibility of acting chairman, Deuba is still the real chairman of the party. According to the party constitution, Deuba can remove the caretaker at any time. Even though Khadka has not withdrawn the responsibility of caretaker, Deuba has started to be active within the party with the power of the chairman.

Defying the demands of other parties to organize a convention before the election within the Congress, Deuba has increased his activism to create an environment for the election under his own leadership. For this, he has started trying to convince the supporters of the convention on the condition of starting the convention process before the elections.
