Heat wave to continue till May 10, urge to be on high alert

Kathmandu.  The Weather Forecasting Division has requested the citizens to take necessary precautions saying that there is a possibility of hot days and heat waves in various districts of Terai and hills of the country till Thursday 10th of Baisakh. 

According to meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane, there is a possibility of moderate heat wave especially in Kanchanpur, Kailali, Doti, Bardia, Banke, Dang, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and West Nawalparasi. In addition to this, hot days are expected in the entire territory of Madhesh Province, terai and hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, hilly areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces as well as Khoch and valleys, while the temperature in other areas is also expected to increase gradually.
