Chance of snow and rain in these areas today
Kathmandu. At present, there is influence of Monsoon air, Western air as well as low pressure area around Uttar Pradesh of India in Nepal. Monsoon low pressure line is currently located around Sardar place, said the Department of Hydrometeorology, Weather Forecasting Division.
According to the department, it is currently cloudy in Karnali and the rest of the Himalayan regions of the country including Sudurpaschim Province. Similarly, the weather is mostly clear in the plains, along with partial clouds in the hilly areas. At present, light to moderate rains are occurring at a couple of places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Today it is expected to be partly cloudy across the country. There is a chance of moderate to moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning in few places in the mountainous and hilly areas of the country.
