Weather forecast: A new weather system is active to bring rain and showers across the country
Kathmandu. At present, along with the influence of western and local winds, the influence of the low pressure area in the lower atmosphere near the eastern part continues. Due to the effect of the low pressure area in the lower atmosphere, most of the parts of the country are cloudy now. According to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division, moderate rains with thunder, lightning and storm are occurring in many places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and some places of Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.
This afternoon, most parts of the country will see normal to full change. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning in Koshi and Madhesh regions as well as some places in the Himalayan and hilly areas and snowfall in the Himalayan region.
