Kathmandu. The government has put the three additional DIG posts for the armed police on hold for now. Tatkal was put on hold after a controversy arose over the addition of the post of DIG for the promotion of Home Minister Omprakash Aryal's cousin Nata Parne.
In the Armed Police Force, the promotion process of DIG Deputy Inspector General of Law has been blocked. Home Minister Omprakash Aryal's uncle SSP Yuvraj Aryal was added to the post of DIG.
The creation of the post of DIG to command 14 people created a controversy in the organization. When IGP Raju Aryal has not done any controversial work for three years, by adding one doorman for 14 employees, complaints have started to keep the members of the entire organization in despair.
The possibility of 'correction' has increased after the government formed on the foundation of the 'Jenji' movement has been involved in controversy over the decision to increase the post of DIG. However, there is no correction. After the promotion of Krishna Prasad Pathak in place of Kalidas Dhabji, the post of DIG has been put on hold.
