The tenth Dhading festival will be held from January 15 to 25
Kathmandu. The 10th Dhading Festival 2082 will be organized with the aim of making the local economy dynamic through the development and promotion of the economic, social, touristic and cultural sectors of the district. The festival will be conducted from January 15th to 25th at the open stage in Neelkanth Municipality-3 Dhadingbesi.
The 10th Dhading Festival is going to be held under the initiative of Dhading Federation of Industries and Commerce and the protection of Neelkanth Municipality and the promotion of Nepal Federation of Industries and Commerce Kathmandu. According to the organizers, more than one lakh spectators are expected to watch the festival and it is expected that there will be a financial transaction worth about three crore rupees.
Information about the festival was given at a press conference on Wednesday. It is said that Bhairavi Temple in Neelkanth Municipality-6 of Dhading will be publicized during the festival. Likewise, there will be 100 commercial stalls, 20 domestic and small industry stalls and 40 agricultural and other production stalls. Rohit Bhandari, senior vice president of Dhading Industry and Commerce Association, said that it will help in the marketing of agricultural, domestic and industrial goods produced in the district.
Similarly, there will be daily cultural performances by national and local famous artists in the festival. He said that during the festival, there will be direct interaction between experts and stakeholders of different subjects, exhibition and competition of agricultural and domestic products, cultural tableau display, promotion of local art and culture, tourism promotion program focusing on Bhairavi Temple, as well as children's garden and entertainment fair. Ramkumar Dallakoti, President of Dhading Industry and Commerce Association, said that previously held Dhading Festivals have contributed positively to tourism promotion, job creation and strengthening the local business environment.
