Kathmandu. Shared Transport is going to operate night bus service in Kathmandu Valley from the 1st of Baisakh. This service, which will be operated from 8 pm to 11 pm, will initially be operated through 7 buses.
During the route test before starting the service, it was found that the bus that left Budanilkanth reached Maharajganj Chowk in 16 minutes and Lagankhel in 46 minutes, while the bus that left Thankot reached Kalanki in 21 minutes and the airport in 45 minutes. Based on this, the schedule has been arranged so that buses are available every 20 minutes.
Buses will be operated from Lagankhel to Budhanilkanth via Patan Hospital, Alka, Narvik, Maternity Home, Trauma Center, Veer Hospital, Kanti Hospital, Teaching Hospital under South Route. Similarly, the bus returning from Budhanilkanth will reach Lagankhel via Maharajganj, Panipokhari, Lajimpat, Jamal, Thapathali.
