Kathmandu. At present there is a partial effect of western wind in Nepal. At present, the rest of the Himalayan areas, including Gandaki, Karnali and the Himalayan and hilly areas of the Far West Province, are partially cloudy and the weather is mainly clear in the rest of the region, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division.
According to the department, there will be thunderstorms in some parts of the Terai region this afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, while it will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas. Weather will be mainly clear in Terai region. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at some places in the high hills and Himalayan parts of Koshi, Gandaki and Bagmati provinces and one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of the rest of the provinces.
Similarly, there will be cold in some places of Terai tonight. It will be partly cloudy in the Himalayan parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali regions and the weather will be clear in the rest of the region. According to the department, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali regions.
