Six comic creators honored, three books published
Bhaktapur. Fitkauli Online Media and Fitkauli.com, which has been active for the promotion of Nepali comedy, has honored the distinguished comedian Mukund Acharya with Fitkauli Comedy National Award (2082). Another senior comedian and poet Dumbar Ghimire was presented with Sri Prashannamurthy Fitkauli Samman (2082).
In the program chaired by senior satirical writer Narendraraj Paudel, three works of satire were also released. Devi Prasad Chapagai's Bakrapurana, Bhaladmi Bhola's Ghopteyug and Ramesh Samartan's infamous Aanchal were made public.
Dr. Chapagai's Bakrapurana published. Hariprasad Silwal reviewed it, while Navaraj Khatiwada reviewed Bhaladami Bhola's Ghopte Yuga.
Rohit Dahal, Parvati Dahal and Tank Dahal's humorous farce titled Mera Baa, Subodh Gautam, Dhirendra Premarshi and Ran Bahadur Budhathoki's comedy performance were entertaining in the program. Vishwanath Dhungel (Nun Baje), Sitaram Gurung, Tharendra Baral and other singers gave their performances in the program.
In the beginning, Narnath Luintel, editor-in-chief of Fitkauli, gave a welcome speech and said that Fitkauli declared the 2080s as the decade of renaissance of Nepali satire for the promotion and upliftment of humor.
Fitkauli, which has been encouraging and inspiring the writing and publication of Nepali comics, has previously honored comedians Choleshwar Sharma, RC Rizal, Gayatri Lamsal, Mahesh Thapa, Kashinath Samsad, Khagendra Neupane, Subhash Chandra Devkota, Devi Prasad Chapagain, Ramsharan Neupane, Dinanath Pokharel and cartoonist Rajesh Manandhar and has published 15 comic works.
The function, which included an exhibition of cartoons full of humor by Rajesh Manandhar, was attended by award-giving Akshkosh Data Chatang Master, Vijaya Gajurel, Janak Chalise, Dr. Mukesh Chalise, Sisnupani President Laxman Gamnage, and other guests and guests, and about 300 comedy lovers including Jugal Basel, Harikala Upreti, Ramsharan Neupane, Rammani Dhungel, Gopichandar Karki, Salikram Dahal, VK Makaju, Krishna Prasad Paidel, Dinanath Pekharel, Bhup Dhamala, Amar Adhikari, Bahadur Ganesh Pahri, were present.

The chief guest at the event was Dr. Madhav Prasad Pokharel gave a speech on the subject of humor and said that humor will greatly help in social change and especially in controlling the distortions seen in politics.
Fitkauli's Khitkaili Sabha-4 has been organized at the White Palace Banquet in Bhaktapur's Koshaltari. In the assembly, six artists who contributed in the field of comedy through writing and art were honored.
For 2082, the 'Govinda-Vijaya-Fithkauli National Comedy Talent Award' was dedicated to Manikaratna Shakya (Kathmandu) and the 'Fithkauli National Comedy Essay Award' was dedicated to comedian Sesharaj Bhattarai from Pokhara.
Similarly, the 2082 'Fithkauli Humorous National Poetry Award' was dedicated to satirist Dilliprasad Mooltihun (Okhaldhunga) and the 'Mukund-Muna Fitkauli National Aging Literature Award' was dedicated to Kaviraj Ghimire (Bhaktapur), who is active in creating literature on aging.
Dumbar, who was honored with Shri Prashannamurthy Fitkouli Samman, was presented with a certificate, a Nepali dhaka cap and a dosalla, while comedian Acharya was given a cash prize of Rs. 20,105.-, certificate of honor and dosalla were presented. Other award-winning comedians Shakya, Bhattarai, Moolatihun and Ghimire were presented with a cash prize of Rs. 15,105.-, certificates and caps.
For this year's honors and awards established and managed by Fitkauli online media, Sisnupani Nepal President Lakshman Gamnage and Prof. Dr. Mukesh Kumar Chalise was chosen by the selection committee.
In the honor and award ceremony, Dr. Ramesh Shubhechchu introduced the honored and awarded creators.
Anil Paudel conducted the ceremony which was inaugurated by Narendraraj Paudel saying that this satirical campaign of Fitkauli is very meaningful, effective and should be appreciated by all of us.
Timbur soup was included along with the dishes of yam, sakarkhand, potato, skus and farsi grown in Nepalese soil as refreshments, which many accepted as new and tasty.
