Announcement of 'Madhupark Samman' to three writers

Kathmandu. The 'Madhupark Samman' awarded every year by the literary magazine Madhupark, a monthly publication of Gorkhapatra Sansthan, has been announced. It has been decided to award this year's 'Madhupark Samman' to leading poet and lyricist Yadav Kharel for verse and to storyteller Bhaupanthi for prose.

Tulsihari Koirala, editor of Madhuparka, informed that the 'Madhuparka Pratibha', which is given to young writers, will be awarded to critic Geeta Tripathi this year. It is said that the decision was taken by the 'Madhupark Samman Selection Committee, 2083', under the coordination of storyteller Dhruv Sapkota, who has previously received the Madhupark Samman, including Madhupark Editor Koirala and Deputy Executive Editor Lakshmi Khatiwada.
