Kathmandu. Some provincial assembly members and local level officials have resigned and nominated themselves as members of the House of Representatives. The Election Commission has informed that the date of by-election will be fixed within 6 months for those vacant positions.
According to the Acting Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission, Ram Prasad Bhandari, the Commission will start preparations for the by-elections after the House of Representatives elections on February 21 are over.
