National Earthquake Protection Day is being celebrated today

Kathmandu. Today is the 27th National Earthquake Safety Day. This day has been celebrated since 2055 in memory of the Great Earthquake of January 2, 1990. The purpose of celebrating this day is to spread awareness about earthquakes and increase preparedness. There was a great loss of people's wealth due to the earthquake of 12 Baisakh 2072.

 On this occasion, various events will be organized and celebrated in Nepal as well.
