Monsoon effect limited, hot air forecast in some areas of Terai

Kathmandu. Currently, the entire area of Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces, some parts of Gandaki province and the eastern part of Lumbini province are under the influence of monsoon air. In other parts, there is partial influence of western and local winds. According to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division, it is currently generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country, while there is partial cloudy in the Terai. A few places in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini regions are experiencing light rain with thunder and lightning.
It will be generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly parts of the country and the plains of Koshi region this afternoon. The weather will remain partly cloudy in the terai of Madhes province and Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and the weather will be mainly clear in the terai of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
