6 point circular of the Minister of Education to solve the problems of slum students

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has issued a 6-point circular regarding the protection and facilitation of students who were affected by the removal of Sukumwasi slums. After the instructions of Minister Sasmit Pokharel, the Education and Human Resource Development Center under the Ministry has issued various instructions and requests to make effective the management of student examinations, adjustment and coordination of schools in the affected settlements after the removal of unorganized slums.

The Center has requested all local levels to facilitate the transfer of affected students to suitable schools after the removal of squatter settlements.

In particular, it has been requested to facilitate the students who will participate in the class 12 examination which started from Monday, to go to the examination center and make alternative arrangements where the school itself is affected.
