Biratnagar. The impact of tension in Sunsari's Dewanganj-Kaptanganj has reached Biratnagar, the capital of Koshi province. Due to the panic, the main market area of Biratnagar and most of the schools have been closed since Tuesday morning.
Private school administrators said that it was decided to give Tuesday holiday on Monday itself. Although the situation in the Kaptanganj area of Dewanganj is slowly returning to normal, protests continue from Pakli to Koshi Barrage along the East-West Highway. Traffic has come to a complete standstill after the protestors blocked the road by burning tires at various places.
