Hetaunda After the road division office Hetaunda issued a 15-day notice to remove the structures in the market area, the controversy has flared up again. After the division office established a 25 (25) yard boundary on both sides of the main road, the local businessmen have again come under obstacles. With the currently issued 15-day notice, it has been clarified that the road division office should remove the structure of the market area according to the 25.25 yard standard.

The mayor of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city, Minakumari Lama, said that this road extension project is under the ADB scheme and since the dispute has been going on for a long time, its solution should be found as soon as possible. Roads have been built from Seemara and Bharatpur. Even though the tender was called in Hetounda, several attempts were made to clear the market according to the standards. However, there is an obstacle. How many people have already received compensation. They have even given a letter saying that they will facilitate the expansion of the road. In such a situation, there is no sense of controversy," she said.

A few days ago, Physical Infrastructure and Planning Development Minister Kulman Ghising, who visited Hetaunda for inspection, called for tenders and instructed to clear 25 meters. In this matter, the court has already decided that no case will be filed during the road expansion. Legally, the way has been cleared, and those who are entitled to compensation have received it. According to the instructions of the minister, the city council of the sub-metropolitan city has already decided to support the expansion, said Mayor Lama.

Locals have complained that they obstructed the road expansion under various pretexts.  "When their houses have to be demolished, they argue on various pretexts. It is because of them that the road expansion is now blocked," said a local. Former Chief Minister Dormani Paudel, current Deputy Mayor Rajesh Bania, businessman Ajay Sumargi and other houses are on the road, and the residents are saddened that more obstacles are being created. They say that traffic congestion is increasing due to unorganized roads and this has reduced the beauty of the city.
