How much did Balen spend in the election?

Surunga. Walendra Sah Balen, who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-5, has released his election expenditure details. According to the details submitted to the district election office through the election representative, Balen spent a total of Rs 14 lakh 14 thousand 729 during the election campaign.

The submitted statement includes the amount spent under various headings. It is mentioned that he spent Rs 233,500 for two vehicles for 15 days during the election campaign administration, Rs 35,000 for air fare for five days and Rs 26,970 for food expenses for voter training program.

It is mentioned in the details that Rs. 450,000 has been spent on ward-level publicity program and door-to-door campaign. It is mentioned that 44 thousand 550 rupees were spent for printing sample ballot papers. 

During the election campaign, Rs 90,000 was spent on water expenses and Rs 29,670 on stationery expenses in two months for running the office. Similarly, it is mentioned that Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand 34 were spent on printing clothes and banners, Rs 1 lakh 19 thousand 505 were spent on transportation of promotional materials and tickets. 

It is mentioned in the details that Rs. 10,000 has been spent for the registration of candidature. The statement of expenses was signed by the representative of Balen, Naveen Bhandari and submitted to the district election office today.
