Gussy effect in Terai, light rain and snow likely in higher hilly areas
Kathmandu. Due to the partial effect of western wind in the whole country, it will be cloudy and foggy in most places of the Terai area, while in some provinces there will be a partial change, according to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division. Now most of the places in Terai are covered with hussu. According to the department, there will be a general shower in the hilly and mountainous areas of the country this afternoon and partial showers in the rest of the country.
There is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki regions and light snowfall at some places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas.
Similarly, tonight, the weather will be mostly clear in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, while the weather will be clear in the rest of the areas. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
The Weather Forecasting Division has warned that daily life, health and road transport may be partially affected due to the impact of Hussu in the Terai region. The department has requested the general public to take necessary precautions and get information about the updated weather information issued on a daily basis.
