Generational transfer is inevitable in politics

Main News Image

Generational change is becoming the biggest challenge in Nepal's politics. A country cannot run without politics. Politics has no meaning if it cannot be used for the benefit of the country and the people. Political parties. Leaders should make the parties dynamic, democratic and ethical in terms of character.

The country can move forward only if the political leadership rises above personal and party interests and works for the benefit of the country and the people. Why did the country not accelerate as expected even when it reached this stage of federal democratic republic practice? Why could not the improvement in the standard of living of the common people? Why could not the country be freed from poverty? Why did dissatisfaction and anger increase everywhere? Why corruption control and good governance could not be maintained? The question has been raised about the political leadership. The situation in which the leaders are allowed to do anything in the name of politics but the people continue to suffer injustice has brought great dissatisfaction. Corruption and crime have become the biggest challenges for the country when the leadership class is given permission to make mistakes in the name of politics. Democracy is the rule of law, not anarchy.

Democracy should be everywhere, not only in the internal life of the party. Democracy should be used for the benefit of the common people. It should not be used as a tool for cheating. If the people do not get to experience democracy, mistrust and resentment will arise. People's trust towards the leadership and the party is decreasing. Declining public trust in party and leadership is the biggest challenge for democracy.

In the recent period of Nepali politics, some political leaders were focused on personal interests. The leadership class could not understand the feelings of the party and workers as well as the common people. The leaders made the party like Pewa. He used it for his selfishness. Concrete work could not be done in the direction of transferring the party and making it dynamic. Leaders and their associates became rich, the country became poor.
