Kathmandu. Ecuador has entered the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup after defeating Germany. Ecuador entered the knockout stage after defeating Germany by 2-1 in the New York New Jersey Stadium in America.

Then, in the ninth minute of the game, Nielsen Angulo of Ecuador scored a goal to tie the game 1-1. In the 77th minute of the second half of the game, another player from Ecuador, Leogonzalo Plata, scored a goal and gave Ecuador the lead.

Meanwhile, in the next match of this group held today, Ivory Coast secured a trip to the knockout stage by winning against Curaçao. Ivory Coast won 2-0 against Curaçao. Nicolas Pepe scored both goals for Ivory Coast in the game.
