ICC rejected Bangladesh's request to postpone the T20 World Cup match

Main News Image

Kathmandu. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has rejected the request of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to shift the T20 World Cup matches from India. Despite the demand to move the match to Sri Lanka citing security reasons, the ICC has made it clear that there will be no change in the designated venue.

Along with this, Bangladesh will have to play all their league matches in India, otherwise they will lose points if they do not play. BCB had claimed a security challenge in connection with Mustafizur Rahman's exit from the IPL.
