Two games in NPL today, pressure to win Pokhara and Chitwan for playoffs
Kathmandu. Two important matches are being played today under the second edition of Nepal Premier League NPL at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium. Today's first match will be between Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Gorkhaz at 11:45 and Sudurpaschim Royals and Chitwan Rhinos will face each other at 4:00 pm.
Pokhara Avengers, who are in the race for the playoffs, have collected four points from five games, so they are under pressure to win today's game to keep their playoff chances alive. Kathmandu Gorkhaz has collected eight points from 6 games. In the next match, Sudurpaschim Royals, who are on the top spot with 10 points and have qualified for the playoffs, will face Chitwan Rhinos. After defeating Biratnagar Kings in the 22nd match of Nepal Premier League NPL T20 cricket, Lumbini Lions maintained the possibility of reaching the playoffs. After defeating Biratnagar by 5 wickets, Lumbini reached the fourth place.
