Mahottari After the severe floods in Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi, cultural festivals and traditional festivals have been held continuously, but there has been no joy in the homes of the uncontacted families of Mahottari. After the disappearance of family members since the flood of August 10, there are only tears and pain in those houses.

His family is in deep pain after Saubhagya Bista of Bardibas 3 Gouridanda, working as a mechanical engineer in the Upper Trishuli (1 hydropower project) went missing due to the flood. Father Dhruv Bista and sister Sarjan are spending days crying waiting for their brother. Even after visiting hospitals from Rasuwa, Nuwakot to Chitwan, no ambulance could be found for Saubhagya.

Similarly, Khil Bahadur Rana of Bardibas (9) hired a helicopter to search for his computer engineer daughter Zoya Rana, but has not been able to get any news yet. The entire family, including the 75-year-old grandmother, is in mourning after the disappearance of Zoya, who said she would come home during Raksha Bandhan.

Despite the completion of festivals like Rakhi, Krishna Janmashtami and Chourchan celebrated in Mithila region, happiness has not returned to the family of 60-year-old Vinadevi Yadav of Pipra (3) and 10-year-old Bitulal Das of Jaleshwar (10).

The Bhotekoshi flood, which started from Rasuwa and flowed through Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun and Chitwan, left a total of 10 people missing in Mahottari. Hashan Reza Ansari of Jaleshwar, Santosh Kumar Thakur of Loharpatti, Vijay Thapa Magar and Sheet Bahadur Nungeli of Gaushala and Bishwajit Mandal of Ramgopalpur are also missing.

After the loss of the main breadwinner and responsible person of the house, the affected families are desperately pleading with the government and rescue agencies to find out the exact status of their person.
