Similarly, Khil Bahadur Rana of Bardibas (9) hired a helicopter to search for his computer engineer daughter Zoya Rana, but has not been able to get any news yet. The entire family, including the 75-year-old grandmother, is in mourning after the disappearance of Zoya, who said she would come home during Raksha Bandhan.

Despite the completion of festivals like Rakhi, Krishna Janmashtami and Chourchan celebrated in Mithila region, happiness has not returned to the family of 60-year-old Vinadevi Yadav of Pipra (3) and 10-year-old Bitulal Das of Jaleshwar (10).

The Bhotekoshi flood, which started from Rasuwa and flowed through Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun and Chitwan, left a total of 10 people missing in Mahottari.
