20,000 election campaign materials posted against the code of conduct were removed
Kathmandu. The Dhanusha District Administration Office has removed the election campaign materials posted by the candidates in various places in Janakpurdham city area against the code of conduct. The office has removed about 20,000 leaflets, pamphlets, banners and posters that were posted in various places against the code of conduct for the election of members of the House of Representatives to be held on February 21.
Materials posted against the code of conduct have been removed from public places, electricity poles, government buildings and roadsides. It was found that leaflets and pamphlets were used in large quantities in different places of Dhanusha by the candidates to intensify the election campaign.
