Why did the parties reject the agenda of the Election Commission?

Kathmandu. The Election Commission held discussions with political parties on Thursday for the House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21.
During the discussion, the commission also proposed the agenda of the election. According to which, the date of 6th January was proposed for the nomination of candidates. But the parties did not agree on it.
The political parties had previously reiterated that there should be a fear-free election. "After the parties did not agree on the proposed date, it was decided to sit for another discussion," said the commission source. The commission also proposed to give 15 days time for publicity. Similarly, the date of submitting the closed list of candidates for the proportional side has been fixed on 18th and 19th of January. The parties have proposed to change the date of this too.
After the Genji movement on August 23 and 24, the government led by KP Sharma Oli collapsed and the government led by former Chief Justice Sushila Karki was formed.
