The success of the private sector is the basis of Nepal's economic success: Finance Minister Wagle

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has said that a strong partnership between the government and the private sector is necessary for the economic transformation of the country. Speaking in a discussion with representatives of 20 large multinational taxpayer companies of Nepal, Wagle said that the success of the private sector is the main basis of Nepal's economic success.

He said that economic development is not possible only through the efforts of a single ministry or policy, and said that integrated efforts of the government and the private sector are necessary. He said that the government does not look at the private sector with suspicion but as a partner in development.
