Complaint against UML workers in Bara incident, warning to close Simra if action is not taken
Kathmandu. A group of youths have filed a complaint with the police saying that CPN-UML workers beat them up in Simara, Bara on Wednesday. They filed a complaint at the local police office, Simra, with Tara Basnet of Simra sub-metropolitan city-1 as an opponent. The local police office sent the complaint to the district police office in Kalaiya.
Samrat, Saurabh Karki, Shankar Prasad Pathak, Raj Bahadur Thapa, Sheikh Safiq, Tek Bahadur Bhandari and others who were injured in this incident were informed by Saikush Upadhyay alias Samrat, the twelve coordinator of the Council of Jenji. According to him, Saurabh Karki's condition is serious and he has been taken to Birgunj for treatment. Iron is planted in Karki's stomach. District Coordinator Upadhyaya has warned that Simra will be closed on Thursday if the UML workers who beat them are not punished.
