Less than 90 days left for the House of Representatives elections, this is the schedule

Kathmandu. There are now 89 days left for the election of the members of the House of Representatives scheduled for February 21. As the election day approaches, the Election Commission has intensified the necessary preparations. Political parties have also intensified their internal preparations keeping the election at the center.

As part of the election program, the commission is going to conduct a program towards proportional election system from Saturday.

According to the program, the deadline for political parties to apply for the proportional election system has been determined from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 21st of November. The list of political parties that have applied for proportional elections will be published on 24th of November.

The political parties who have applied in this way have fixed the deadline for submitting the closed list of candidates on the 13th and 14th of January from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Similarly, on January 30th, the final list of candidates for proportional representation has been scheduled to be published, said Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, spokesperson of the commission.
