The US expelled two Iranian diplomats who stayed after the General Assembly
Kathmandu. The United States has expelled two Iranian diplomats from the United States who ignored the order to leave the country despite participating in the United Nations General Assembly. According to the US State Department, both members of the Iranian delegation were found to be in New York long after the General Assembly ended. According to the Ministry, they were expelled from the US after the instructions of the Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
