Yadav of Congress submits a claim for the Chief Ministership of Madhesh Province
Kathmandu. Krishna Prasad Yadav, the leader of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party, has submitted a claim for the Chief Ministership of Madhesh Province. State Chief Dr. Claims have been submitted to Surendra Lab to appoint Congress MP Krishna Prasad Yadav as the Chief Minister with a majority of seven parties. The claim includes members of Nepali Congress, JSP Nepal, Janmaat, CPN Maoist Center, LOSPA, CPN United Socialist Party and Civil Liberation Party.
According to clause 2 of Article 168 of the Constitution, the claim has been submitted with the support of two or more parties. Claims have been submitted for the formation of a new government with the support of 22 members of Congress, 18 members of JSP Nepal, 13 members of Janmat, 9 members of CPN Maoist Center, 8 members of LOSPA Nepal, 7 members of CPN United Socialist Party and 1 member of Civil Liberties Party.
