Weather Forecast: Possibility of Rain with Thunder and Lightning in Five Provinces

Kathmandu: At present, Nepal is experiencing the combined influence of westerly winds, local winds, and a low-pressure system near the eastern region. Due to this, most parts of the country are cloudy, and there is a possibility of rainfall in some places, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
According to the Weather Forecast Division, the hilly and mountainous regions, including Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali Provinces, are generally cloudy at present. The remaining Terai areas are partly cloudy. Light rain is also currently occurring in one or two places in Koshi and Bagmati Provinces.
