Seven thousand 648 disaster incidents in a year: most of them are fire

Kathmandu. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, there were a total of 7,648 disaster incidents in one year, and the incidents related to fires and wildfires are the highest. The fact that there are the most number of fire incidents among the total disaster incidents has increased the need for the government agencies to show equal interest and proactivity for precautions.
The authority's statistics show that special precautions should be taken to reduce fire and related incidents. According to the Authority, lack of caution, lack of public awareness and the tendency to set fire to forests and dry and dried materials are more responsible for the large amount of loss of human wealth.
