Using force is not the solution, the government should become more responsible, active and sensitive: Prachanda
Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has expressed serious concern about the tension in Sunsari. In the all-party meeting held at Singh Darbar, he said that at a sensitive time, all parties should adopt restraint and move forward to maintain social harmony and mutual trust.
"In the past, whether it was during disasters like earthquakes, floods or landslides or in a complex process like constitution making, we presented an example of common consensus and national unity. Even today, the same political maturity, dialogue and responsibility are needed. But a serious question has arisen as to why the National Independent Party-led government is not able to move towards a common solution on such sensitive issues of national importance.
