Two youths stabbed in Birganj

Parsa. Two youths were attacked with a sharp weapon in Birgunj Metropolitan City Ward No. 16 Ghusukpur on Tuesday evening. Vikas Mahato and Suraj Mahato, who were heating fire in front of the house, were injured by their neighbors with a sharp weapon. Both the injured people are being treated at Narayani Hospital in Birganj.

According to Sudipraj Pathak, Chief Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Parsa, at around 6:45 pm on Tuesday evening, while they were heating a fire in front of their house, due to an old rivalry, Vikas and Suraj were attacked with sharp weapons by their neighbors. He informed that Vikas' head and Suraj's stomach were injured in the incident.

According to the preliminary investigation, SP Pathak said that there had been a dispute between the injured and the assailant earlier and the incident occurred due to the same incident. He said that the search for the persons involved in the incident is underway.
