Trivia students demanded 50 percent concession in IPL

Kathmandu. The student organizations have asked for 50 percent subsidy for the Nepal Premier League NPL starting from November 1st. The students are demanding that the students of the Central Campus of the University should be allowed to watch the match in the cricket ground of the Tribhuvan University. The student organizations made this demand in a meeting with the vice-chancellor, registrar and president and secretary of Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) on Saturday.

The student organizations have demanded that students should be allowed to keep stalls, at least 10 percent of the income from NPL should be spent on research and educational development of students, parking should be prohibited inside the university and security of students should be taken responsibility, women's dormitory near the stadium should be fenced, etc. CAN has published a notification on Thursday and said that the tickets have been opened.

The ticket price for the opening and Saturday is fixed at Rs 500 and premium Rs 1500, while for the season it is fixed at Rs 15,000.
Similarly, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 for other days and Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 have been fixed for the playoff final. CAN has opened ticket sales for the first 6 days of the tournament in the first phase.
