Traffic Week 2082 continued in Kathmandu: Campaign to spread awareness among road users was conducted in a grand manner
Kathmandu. Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office Ramshahpath is celebrating the "Traffic Accident Reduction Special Campaign and Traffic Week 2082" with the aim of ensuring that traffic accidents do not occur due to lack of traffic awareness and carelessness and that no one suffers financial loss.
The traffic week program started on 26th of 2082. On the eve of traffic week on 25th of 2082, the head of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Senior Superintendent of Police Navraj Adhikari started the blood donation program.
On the first day of the traffic week, on the 26th of Push, an awareness rally was held from Basantapur Kumari House to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office with the participation of more than 10,000 people using the original costumes of the Nepal Police Wings, various organizations and various communities.
In the event, certificates were given to organizations and individuals who supported the reconstruction of the office along with the traffic awareness dance. During the week-long program, more than 50,000 leaflets and pamphlets were distributed to road users. More than 380,000 road users have benefited from Traffic Week 2082, which was completed with the significant support of local bodies, Nepali Army, local police, armed police, Nepal Scout, N.C., various schools and colleges and other concerned bodies. Traffic awareness jingles from Metro Traffic FM, conducting programs, promoting the week, daily press releases, communication of programs on social networks and traffic awareness animated videos were broadcasted on digital hoarding boards at various intersections for public awareness.
