Prime Minister Shah will meet Indian army chief Seth

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah is going to meet Indian Army chief Dheeraj Seth. Spokesperson and assistant of the Nepali Army Rathi Rajaram Basnet informed that Shah, who is also the defense minister, is ready to meet Seth on Tuesday afternoon.

Seth, who is on a four-day visit, will return to India on Wednesday after this meeting. President Ramchandra Paudel awarded Seth the honorary title of Maharathi of the Nepali Army during a program organized at Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas on Monday. Since 1950, there is a tradition between Nepal and India to award the rank of Honorary Maharathi to each other's army chief.
