Kathmandu. There is a chance of snowfall and rain in some parts of the country today. Due to the partial influence of the western wind, the weather is generally clear in the afternoon, but at night there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in some places. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, it will be cloudy and foggy in some parts of the Terai region in the afternoon. It will be partly cloudy in the mountainous areas of the country. The weather will be mostly clear in the rest of the country.
In Kathmandu, the minimum temperature at 6:00 am today was measured at 3.7 degrees Celsius. At night, there is a possibility of light snowfall and rain at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. According to the department, it will be partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly and mountainous areas.
