The name of the party formed by 9 parties is 'Nepali Communist Party': election symbol star
Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party will be the name of the unified party that will be formed after the unity of 9 parties including CPN Maoist Center and CPN Unified Socialists. In the convention organizing committee meeting held at Pragya Bhavan, coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' informed about the name of the new party. According to him, the symbol will be a five-pointed star.
Earlier, the top leaders of the 8 parties had signed an 18-point agreement on November 19, deciding to formally announce the unity of the party. After that, the Patriotic Samajwadi Front led by Gopal Kirati was formally absorbed into the Maoist Center.
Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Chairman of CPN Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party Mahendra Rai Yadav, Chairman of Jana Samajwadi Party Sumanraj Kafle, Chairman of CPN Samajwadi Raju Karki, General Secretary of Biplav Group 9 NKP0 Chiran Pun, Prem Bahadur Singh who separated from UML, and Chairman of CPN 9 Maoist Samajwadi 0 Karnajit Budhathoki were signed.
It is said that the organizational structure of the Nepal Communist Party will be based on the coordinator and co-coordinator system from the center to the ward level.
